In early March, 2001, J.C. Steele rolled out the first phase of an ongoing project addressing the company's e-commerce strategy. The first phase includes the company's redesigned website, implementation of SteeleService, and the crafting of an evolving vision of how the internet will enhance J.C. Steele's market leading position. The redesigned site should improve the overall experience from a navigation perspective. In addition to providing a marketing channel for perspective customers, the site offers secure log on functionality for existing clients; SteeleService. SteeleService is a database-driven component, which provides customer login functionality, online ordering and order status reporting.

With your first glance at the 45ATX Extruder you can see that this machine is really different. It is a combination of J.C. Steele’s traditional ruggedness and modern machine technology. From its hinged split barrel to its triple reduction gearbox, this extruder is packed with features that can reduce maintenance and extend service life. An auger speed range of 20 to 45 RPM is possible with an 1800 RPM motor. It can deliver about 50 tons per hour at 32 RPM. Short runs, agglomeration, noodles and pellets, brick shapes, tile, wall panels, soft or stiff materials…The mid-sized Steele 45ATX is versatile enough to meet the challenge.
