IN-HOUSE CNC MACHINING FOR CONTROL OF QUALITY AND LEAD TIMES

CNC Facility

Our in-house CNC machining features
the following technologies:

  • Edgecam® CADCAM platform for production
    machining and extrusion dies
  • 8’ x 6’ G&L machining table that can hold
    92-inch tall parts, to machine vacuum chambers,
    gearboxes and floor frames
  • G&L lathe with a 5’ chuck, for milling stock up to 5’ in
    diameter and producing Incla wheels, rotors discs and
    wearing rings
  • Manual lathe to turn pug shafts up to 21’6” in length
  • EDM machining for cutting chrome and other materials
  • Robotic spray coating for custom dies—we use a Brick
    hide coating for a super-hard, durable finish

Our Statesville, North Carolina, plant includes a fully- equipped, in-house CNC machining operation, staffed by industry veterans working with deep inventories of steel stock and state-of-the-art technologies. Our in-house CNC machining specialists work closely with our foundry, to cut lead times and accelerate production of machinery and wearing parts.

We keep deep inventories of the following for welded assembly:

  • Hot rolled flat steel
  • Cold rolled flat steel
  • Tubing
  • Bar stock
  • Angle stock
