We’ve always believed that investing in inventory was good for us and our customers. Most of our customers depend on our equipment to run around the clock, so we work hard to ensure that we have anything a customer might need on the shelf.
In 2008, we reinforced that commitment by moving our parts inventory into a 60,000 square foot warehouse in Statesville, North Carolina, housing a deep inventory of over 5,000 itemized J.C. Steele machine parts, including wear parts such as point augers and spirals. J.C. Steele wearing parts are made from our 28PC high chrome iron alloy. This iron alloy is so durable and wear-resistant, machine components must be worn-in to achieve full production rates. We “pre-slick” virtually all augers made of 28PC to minimize or eliminate your break-in period.
In addition to wearing parts and machine parts, we also warehouse bearings, shafts, gears and sub-assemblies for all J.C. Steele machinery. Our warehouse staff have pagers for 24/7 availability in the U.S. and we pack our parts in containers for shipping or air freight. We have extensive experience with international deliveries, including all required shipping certifications and export regulations, to deliver your wearing parts with the industry’s best lead times.
In addition to our primary warehouse in Statesville, NC, we maintain satellite warehouse operations in Australia, Brazil, China and South Africa to support our global installed base.
