Congratulations to H\u00e4ndle on 150 years of customer-driven innovation!<\/strong><\/h1>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text el_class=”intro”]H\u00c4NDLE GmbH Maschinen und Anlagenbau celebrates 150 years in business this year. The company has come a long way since Karl H\u00e4ndle opened his machine shop and smithy near M\u00fchlacker, Germany, in 1870. They\u2019ve built and delivered over 6,000 extruders, 1,000 box feeders and many more material processing machines.<\/p>\n

Today, H\u00e4ndle is a world leader in engineering and manufacturing for bulk raw material solutions. They became part of The Steele Group in 2000. We\u2019re proud to congratulate Gerhard Fischer, H\u00e4ndle\u2019s Managing Director, and his colleagues on reaching this milestone.<\/p>\n

How does a company make it to 150?<\/strong><\/h2>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”8244″ img_size=”full” style=”vc_box_shadow_border” onclick=”custom_link” link=”https:\/\/www.jcsteele.com\/staging\/7740\/machinery\/auxiliary-equipment\/atlas-copco-vacuum-system\/”][vc_column_text el_class=”intro”]In 1876, six years after opening his business, Karl H\u00e4ndle introduced his training program. He knew that the company\u2019s long-term success would depend on a strong culture, with veteran engineers and machinery makers sharing their values and knowledge with a younger generation.<\/p>\n

Today, Germans recognize H\u00e4ndle as a reliable training partner in the region. The company works closely with local schools, giving its apprentices a solid grounding in the theory and practice of machinery for processing bulk raw materials. H\u00e4ndle also offers a dual study program, focusing on economic engineering, mechanical engineering, business administration and business informatics.<\/p>\n

The dual study program gives H\u00e4ndle a pipeline of qualified candidates to manage the increasing complexity of its production processes. H\u00e4ndle makes a complete line of souring plant excavators for cross- and longitudinal dredging.<\/em><\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text el_class=”intro”]H\u00e4ndle is well established in Europe and the CIS, exporting to about 50 countries around the world. Along with Direxa Engineering, our sister EPC company in The Steele Group, H\u00e4ndle gives us the ability to provide complete single-source solutions to customers.<\/p>\n

Like Steele, H\u00e4ndle\u2019s roots are in heavy clay. Their experience with tough raw materials makes them a key player in The Steele Group\u2019s expansion into by-product management and resource recovery. The lessons we\u2019ve learned in shaping clays and shales have value for iron & steel mills, ferro alloy mines and gypsum\/wallboard producers.<\/p>\n

H\u00e4ndle provides application engineering and machinery for environmental engineering projects, cementitious panel production, landfill and sewer sealing machines. In addition, they specialize in bulk material proportioning for granular materials \u2014 FGD lime, talc and pulverized fly ash.<\/p>\n

H\u00e4ndle has a particular excellence in shaping technologies, both in semi-stiff extrusion and press systems. Their latest innovation, the NOVA III eccentric roof tile press, sets a new standard for production of large-format bricks, bricks with complex geometries and thin bricks.<\/p>\n

These products require more shearing force than a 100-ton press can muster. The NOVA III delivers 400 tons of pressure, with a transverse force of 180 tons. So you can increase output and improve quality and efficiency, with the ease of operation and maintenance you need.<\/p>\n
