The L-Die’s overall length and mid-base/shaper caps make it idea for paver production. It offers the flexibility, reliability and low maintenance you need, with a front-removal bridge, multiple shaper cap options and rugged internal construction.
Positioning bolts offer on-the-fly bridge adjustments and the standard die base ensures that all L-Die bases and bridges are interchangeable.
The L-Short Die offers the flexibility and innovation of the L-Die, with a minimum-length die assembly well suited for many extrusion mixes.
The L-Utility Die gives you the innovations and flexibility of our L-Die, in a design that handles larger extrusion profiles. We offer multiple shaper cap options — ceramic, tool steel and our high chrome iron alloy — in one and two-piece designs.
The standard mid-base liner blanks have a custom front opening, size-cut to your specifications.
Steele continues to invest in research and development, working with our global customer base and continuing to compile our raw materials database. Our Die Division specializes in complete solutions, including dies, bridges, coring, column trimmers and lubrication systems for solid, multi-core brick, block, pavers and tile.
Händle, our German partner, acquired ZMB Braun in 2014 for added depth in extrusion tooling, complex work pieces and spare parts manufacturing. Braun provides experienced engineering and state-of-the-art manufacturing for heavy clay and technical ceramics customers.
